Thanks to the Electricity New Connection (ENC) system, users can now submit applications online, upload documents, pay fees, and track their application status from anywhere in Pakistan.
Ways to Apply for a GEPCO New Connection
You can apply using one of two methods:
Applying Online via ENC Portal
Follow these steps to apply for a GEPCO new connection online using GEPCO’s ENC system:

- Attested copy of your CNIC
- Attested CNIC of a witness
- Property ownership documents
- Neighbor’s GEPCO bill
- Wiring contractor’s test report
- Undertaking (stating no previous arrears or connection)
- Passport-size photograph (if required)
Manual Application Process at GEPCO Office
If you prefer to apply in person, visit the nearest GEPCO sub-divisional office and follow these steps:
- CNIC copy of applicant
- Property ownership document or lease agreement
- Neighbor’s electricity bill
- Wiring certificate
- Undertaking
- Witness CNIC (attested)
- Recent photograph (if required)
Important Considerations
- Accuracy: Incomplete or incorrect forms will be rejected.
- Verification: Submitting fake or forged documents may lead to legal action.
- Timing: Application files must be submitted within 21 days of online submission.
- Third-party Services: Stamp vendors outside GEPCO offices can prepare and submit files for a fee (usually PKR 500–700).
Track Your GEPCO New Connection Status

GEPCO Demand Notice & Charges
Once your application is approved, a Demand Notice will be issued. It includes charges for:
- Meter installation
- Wiring up to 40 meters
Estimated cost: PKR 9,000 to PKR 12,000. If your premises are farther from the nearest electric pole, extra wiring costs may apply.
