Ways to Apply for a GEPCO New Connection

You can apply using one of two methods:

  • Online via ENC Portal
  • Manual Submission at the GEPCO Office

 Applying Online via ENC Portal

Follow these steps to apply for a GEPCO new connection online using GEPCO’s ENC system:

Step-by-Step Process:

  • Visit the ENC Portal: Go to the official ENC website at https://enc.com.pk
  • Start the Application:
    Click on the “Apply” button. Fill in the required details, including your personal info, connection type (single or three-phase), and premises information.
  • Upload Documents (in JPEG format):
  • Attested copy of your CNIC
  • Attested CNIC of a witness
  • Property ownership documents
  • Neighbor’s GEPCO bill
  • Wiring contractor’s test report
  • Undertaking (stating no previous arrears or connection)
  • Passport-size photograph (if required)
  • Submit the Application Form: After uploading all documents, agree to the terms and submit the form.
  • Print the Application: Once submitted, download and print the application form for your records.
  • Compile Your File:
    Attach all the required documents along with the printed application form
  • Submit the File at GEPCO Office:
    Physically deliver your completed application file to your nearest GEPCO office. Failure to submit the file within 21 days will result in cancellation of the application.
  • Receive and Pay Demand Notice:
    After document verification, you’ll receive a demand notice. Pay it at the designated bank.
  • Submit Paid Demand Notice Copy:
    Submit the copy of the paid demand notice back to the GEPCO office.
  • Wait for Installation:
    Once payment is confirmed, GEPCO will schedule your meter installation

Manual Application Process at GEPCO Office

If you prefer to apply in person, visit the nearest GEPCO sub-divisional office and follow these steps:

  • Obtain the GEPCO New Connection Form:
    Collect it from the office or download from the ENC portal.
  • Prepare Required Documents:
  • CNIC copy of applicant
  • Property ownership document or lease agreement
  • Neighbor’s electricity bill
  • Wiring certificate
  • Undertaking
  • Witness CNIC (attested)
  • Recent photograph (if required)
  • Get Documents Verified:
    Have documents attested by an Oath Commissioner.
  • Submit the File:
    Submit the complete file to the GEPCO office and obtain a receipt.
  • Receive Demand Notice:

  • Submit Proof of Payment:

  • Third-party Services: Stamp vendors outside GEPCO offices can prepare and submit files for a fee (usually PKR 500–700).

Track Your GEPCO New Connection Status

  • Enter your CNIC or Tracking ID.
  • Click “Submit” to view your application progress.

GEPCO Demand Notice & Charges

Once your application is approved, a Demand Notice will be issued. It includes charges for:

  • Meter installation
  • Wiring up to 40 meters

Estimated cost: PKR 9,000 to PKR 12,000. If your premises are farther from the nearest electric pole, extra wiring costs may apply.
